Aug-Sept | Falcon Fundraiser
Annual fundraiser designed to raise money to help close the gap between district funding and what WE need to make our school spectacular. To date that has included tablets for students, new library furniture, campus improvements, and supplies for classrooms.
january | Career Day
Career Day allows 8th grade students to interface with community professionals and para-professionals in order to steer students toward the curriculum that will best help them attain their goals.
March | Cultural Coexistence and Wellness Fair
Wellness Fair and Cultural Coexistence Student Showcase are held simultaneously. The Wellness Committee schedules vendors that promote healthy lifestyles to be present. The Cultural Coexistence Committee coordinates with a school administrator to purchase supplies to be distributed to specific teachers with students involved in creating and displaying posters for the Spring Open House Student Showcase.Additionally, the committee makes arrangements for food trucks to be present and works with school staff to organize the Student Showcase on the day of the event.
May | 8th Grade Party
A celebration for the 8th grade class at Main Event to mark the end of middle school careers. It takes many hands to put this plan and execute this event.

Hospitality committee works hard all year to show our amazing teachers how much we appreciate them. They organize and execute monthly events to feed our staff and recognize all their hard work.
ONGOING | Retail Share
Retail share facilitates Spirit Nights. Spirit Nights are fundraisers for PTO and the school that are conducted at local restaurants and businesses. PTO will promote the spirit night to staff and families and encourage participation. In return, the business will donate a portion of the proceeds for the evening back to the school.
ONGOING | Shared Dreams
The Shared Dreams Committee plans and organizes drives at FSMS that benefit the Shared Dreams Center. The Share Dreams Center provides short term assistance registered Fort Bend ISD students in need. Over 50% of FBISD families are considered economically disadvantaged. Shared Dreams is celebrating its 35th year with the district.
ONGOING | Beautification
The Beautification Committee is committed to improving the environment on campus for both staff and students. Past projects have included adding benches outdoors, organizing art contests, and adding decor to the teachers lounge.
